Welcome to cruise-chat.

Even if you do get the soda package, the choices remain the same for everyone...Coca-Cola products, which means Diet Coke or Diet Sprite.

The buffet restaurant will have things such as iced tea and lemonade but only the tea would be sugar free. Coffee and hot tea are offered 24 hours a day. Of course the bars and room service will offer bottled water for a price. A good suggestion for diabetics is to bring along some drink mixes such as Crystal Lite or anything sugar free. Mix your own. The truth is most ships do not have many beverage choices for diabetic passengers, other than the basics.

The tap water in your stateroom is filtered in case you want to fill a water bottle. When is your cruise date?

We also wish that the cruise lines start offering more diabetics pop as there are thousands of new cases of people becoming diabetics and we also can not drink the cola. We love Diet Canada Dry which is produce by Coke and also Fresca which is also produce by coke. So they have to start selling these other types of diet pop in the future. We have written e-mails to all cruise lines and they reply that they are looking at new diet pop to give the passenagers. They have to start changing with the times.

Hi amm, welcome to Cruise-Chat! Just in case you weren't welcomed earlier Hope you have a marvelous cruise. You don't have long to wait now. Are you going to spend some time pre/post cruise in Italy? Best wishes!
