Hi! This site has been very helpful in planning our cruise. Thanks for the time you put into answering questions and getting information out there. I have a two questions. Which Royal Caribbean ship would you most want to take an Eastern or Southern Carib. Cruise on? Are there price lists for onboard costs (exercise classes, bottled water, margarita, wi-fi, etc.) anywhere online?

Thanks!
Liz

Hi Liz! Welcome to cruise-chat!

Thank you for your kind words. You really described what we do here...we take the time to answer questions and provide information. Many cruise forums just provide junk answers and diatribe. You won't find that here.

My answer to your question is simple...Oasis Of The Seas on the Easter Caribbean run. It is worth the price of admission.

Many exercise classes are free. Something like Yoga or Pilates may have a nominal fee of $10 or $15 a session. The ships internet is about .55 a minute. You can buy packages for various minutes which will lower the per minute rate.

Hi EWalton, welcome to Cruise-Chat! I think Dave has sailed on all of RCCL's ships, so if he says Oasis, I'd be booking it. From everything he reported when he sailed on her and other reviews I've read, she's one magnificent beauty. Oh, and by the way, she's HUGE!

The drinks (alcoholic) are priced about the same as a nice restaurant/bar in your area. Beer $3.50-$5.00, Wine $6 and up, non-call alchol $6 and up, call liquors $10 and up. I don't know of anywhere on-line you can find price lists, but as Cruise Fanatic states, there are lots of activities free of charge. Bottled water is $2.50 and up. The wi-fi is available, it is slow and expensive.

My personal preference is the southern Caribbean itinerary, but the Oasis doesn't go there. Please let us know what you decide.

Best wishes!

Thank you for the info! I REALLY like the Oasis. After researching lines we opted to try HAL this time. I have some questions about that lone that I'll post on the HAL board. Thanks again!
