OK....we are definitely not going on a cruise to watch TV. But I have a question about TVs. We are booked on the Rhapsody of the Sea for Sept. 26 and barring an encounter with Hurricane Zeke, we will depart on our first ever cruise. I see on descriptions of stateroom furnishings, TVs are mentioned. Then I look at the schedule of my beloved Cowboys and see they play the 'Skins on THAT Monday night. I would even give up the casino to see that game. I queried RCCL by email but got no response. That's understandable....I'm sure Charley and Frances are keeping them occupied. So.....can anyone tell me if ABC Monday Night Football is doable on this cruise?? (Redskins fans can reply too, but I'm hard core)

Oh, my friend! I have been in your situation and empathize! I am a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan (no disparaging remarks please) and have spent many nights wandering around the decks looking for anyone with news of the game. You will be at sea that day and it will truly be a "hit or miss" possibility. They do have satellite and CNN and ESPN are usually broadcast, but major networks like ABC, NBC, CBS etc. are all broadcast based on whatever signal the ship can receive. Some of the newer ships have new sports bars offering great TV coverage of major sporting events, but Rhapsody is not one of them. However, since you are leaving from TX there will definitely be other Cowboy fans onboard, so I am sure the ship will do its best to provide it - if at all possible. How's that for the longest non-answer you will ever get. I just can really relate and certainly hope that reception in the skies that night are sending out clear signals!

No, I must admit I am not one of the Dawg Pound elite, but have season tickets on the "50 yard line". That should tell you how long I have been rooting for the hometown team! I actually will be in Bermuda on Sunday for the season home opener and it killed me to sell my seats (particularly since our home opener is against the Baltimore Ravens - for those of us in Cleveland that has great significance).

Thanks for the congrats - sorry about the Cowboys. Of course, wouldn't you know the first home season opener I have missed since they reformed and I miss the good one!!! Hmmm, a little friendly rivalry - my money is on my hometown favorite - what about you?

I gotta go with MY (and America's.....yuk yuk)team in their opener. They showed flashes of brilliance against the Vikings.....unfortunately many flashes of burned toast..... But The Tuna is pee-oed and that insures victory. So how about a cold cyber brew on this one? Or cyber coke...your choice)

You're on - a cyber brew it is!!! Actually never enjoyed one before ("cyber" brew that is - VBG)but I am sure it will be the sweet taste of victory one of us will be enjoying (Hopefully ME.

The thought of starting the season 0-2 makes me ill. NFC East too tough now to dig out of much of a hole. This game big for both teams but Cowboys NEED it worse. Therefore, the sweet taste of victory cyber brew wager is on.
(There are no hurricanes headed for Dallas....the game will be played)
