Just got off Liberty-Freedom's sister ship. The perks are very nice, and well worth the extra money for a great cabin. The concierge (sp) will be a large help-use his expertice as he is there to make your trip an even better one than you expected. The lounge is a very nice place to relax with a drink before dinner.
Have a great cruise-we just did!!

Welcome back, Jim1012 I do hope that Miami was easier debarking than embarking! It sounds like you have a wonderful time!

Getting off and out of Miami was a royal pain in the b__t, but not for the reasons at boarding. Just getting off and having to return to the "World" can get painful. And of course, I left with one suitcase, and had to buy another in PR to hold all the stuff the wife purchased. So the airline got another $20. BUT, I love crusing!!!!

It's my turn again! I'm looking forward to Sunday when I get to board the Liberty again. I'm flying Southwest which has free luggage. Maybe I should take advantage of that and bring another suitcase--that way my wife can do some Christmas shopping. Thanks for the idea.

Have a terrific cruise, Sonny. You can get all your Christmas shopping done and have a good time doing it. Enjoy!

Had to laugh..Had same issue, BUT with husband and NOT on cruise..Trip to Hawaii.. Was SO much cheaper to purchase more luggage than to pay airlines for "Heavy" luggage.

Was actually thinking of bringing empty luggage with me, or barely filling 1 piece of luggage. Sonny thinking of Christmas shopping too. Not so much for "cruise/port shopping" but for Universal Studios shopping..New Harry Potter rides, etc. We have 6 nieces/nephews

Have fun Sonny. We really enjoyed the Liberty, very nice ship and my daughter loved the pools and especially the rock climbing walls. Looks like you have an awesome B2B2B coming up!!! Now, if the dang airlines would just cutting some deals on flights!!
