When I sailed on the Majesty of the Sea three years ago (4 night cruise), most people dressed up for formal night. When I sailed on Navigator of the Sea (5 night cruise), people were not as dressed up for formal night. Women wore dress slacks/capris more than dresses and there were very few women dressed in long or formal style dresses. Has anyone cruised on Majesty of the Sea lately and can tell me what women were wearing on formal night? Thanks.

You are seeing more people not dressing up in the long gowns and being formal. Particularly on short cruises. People just don't want to pack formal wear for one evening. The airline luggage rules and fees are also affecting the way people pack for cruises.
