No, my back problems preclude the zip line. The braking action at the end of the run is somewhat jarring according to those I talked to who did the zip line.
The chair lift is not at Labadee. It is at Carnival's Mahogany Bay resort on Roatan.
Oh God Dave they're fantastic, Im so happy I booked this cruise over a year ago now!! only 6 weeks to go!!!! thank you so much for taking the time to do this!
Great pictures Dave! My question.. what was being out in the open area of the boardwalk like? Windy? I assume since it is outside its hot or does the ship provide enough shade so you are not in the direct sun?

No wind on the Boardwalk. It was very pleasant, as was Central Park.
I was always under the impression that the whole center of the ship was open to the sky. It isn't. The Boardwalk and Central Park are open, but the Promenade is totally enclosed and below Central Park. Those big windows you see in Central Park look down on the Promenade.
I just added 17 more photos to the library which show the Promenade and Solarium. The Solarium is forward of the main pools and is a stunning place. It also has a buffet line with healthier choices that is complimentary for breakfast and lunch. At night it is an ala carte (extra fee) dining area with no entree having more than 500 calories.
I commented in the album too about how wonderful the pictures are before I saw this thread. The ship is beautiful and the pictures have sold me on giving it a try.
Awesome photos Dave ! You were everywhere on that ship. I love the open look to the Solarium, and the clamshells overlooking the water. That's the first time I am starting to think I may try it, with the right group. Maybe a booking hold on the Century will have to heppen.

Wonderful photos! She certainly is impressive. I really like that everyone can have an aft view! It must be nice to be able to turn your head and realize you are on a ship.
I'm also impressed with Labadee. While I've never been there, it's clear that private islands have come a long way since I started cruising.
