Yippee, just realized we are on the Oasis during St. Patricks Day. Most importantly it is a sea day the morning after, which helps for recovering the next day. Anyways, on the Freedom there was an "English Pub", I forget the name. Is there one on the Oasis?? Just curious, we had alot of fun in that pub. Lil' Lori

It's named the Globe & Atlas Pub on the Oasis. I don't know if he is a permanent fixture, but on our cruise they had a bagpiper who played in there in the evening. He also would "lead" the crowds from the promenade to the main dining room at the assigned seating times. I like the music from the pipes so I enjoyed it immensely.

That would be super cool. For our honeymoon, 9 yrs ago, we spent 2 weeks driving around Scotland. Our anniversary is March 3rd, so this is also a anniversary cruise for us. We would love the bagpiper to be there, that would make it even more special. Lil' Lori

Scott Parham was playing in the Globe and Atlas on our cruise.....great songs and great fun. we spent nearly every evening in there.

Funny thing though, someone had some bagpipes on the ship as I heard them nearly every day.

Just got off Oasis 2 days ago. Wish I was still there. The piper is still there. Love it. Also the Pub has a piano singer at night although it is a smoking bar (as is Boleros). Too bad. The Schooner Bar has a piano player, Peter, who is GREAT. We had a lot of fun in there. He has a wonderful list of songs he'll play.
Don't know if they'll celebrate St. Pat's day but take some green and start your own party. Trust me, it'll grow.
Have fun.
