Aft cabins on Freedom

I am in charge of our "group cruise" and five of our families are booked in the aft balcony staterooms on the Freedom on deck 10. The two staterooms on the end (1400 and 1700) someone at RC told me were very nice because the balcony kind of "wrapped the corner" and felt like there was more room. Has anyone seen these staterooms to verify that? Also, one of my friends is concerned because back of the ship appears to go out as it goes down. She is afraid of an obstructed view or that she will not be able to see down to the water - that she will just be able to see ship as she looks down. Does anyone know what the view is like?

I would characterize the ship as more wrapping around the balcony than the other way around. You will have a shaded area that because of the ship structure almost has a curved "roof" --but that is just one outside corner, not a big deal. The balconies are bigger than those on the sides of the ship. The ship does get deeper as it descends to the water, but you don't really have the sensation of looking down onto the balconies, it isn't that much of an angle. I never felt that it was an obstruction situation. We loved the aft balcony.
