Look here to see photos of the detailed scale model of the Oasis Of The Seas. Look closely at the sixth photo and you'll see the zip line going over the opening.
Is this ship going to need it's own international calling code?
Unless my eyes are failing me again, the zip line will take some re-configuring for the actual ship. A zip line that ends in a whirlpool. That would be a neat attraction though.
I'm looking to open a Segway shop on the Oasis, who should I be corresponding with? LOL ! I guess there will be many passengers losing weight on the cruises when Oasis goes in service.
I still would have loved to go on the Oasis, but I couldn't sell it to the hubby. It took no time at all to sell him on the Carnival Dream though. I think he just was not happy with the western Oasis ports. I must admit I questioned it too. We both are excited to go to all of the western carnival dream ports.

As excited as I am about going on the Carnival Dream, I have to point out that it will in no way compare to the Oasis in size or features. Carnival did have (rumored) plans to build a ship this size, but put them on the back burner or scrapped them for the time being. That was probably a wise decision given the position Royal Caribbean is in with financing the Oasis.
I agree you can not compare the two ships. Maybe due to economic times it's not always wise to take too big of a bite. The carnival Dream was definately much more affordable for me. Maybe one day we will go on the Oasis. I still prefer the port of call for the Dream, as they will be new ports for me. Seing as how I would like to see as much of the world as possible, made more sence to me.
