Chair Hogs Beware - RCI enforcing the rules

When we were on Liberty last week there was no enforcement on the chairs. Many times it was almost impossible to find 1 chair let alone 2 together near any pool. Chairs sat empty for hours with just a towel on them. Also we took our towels to our room and out attendant never removed them.

Well, it's a shame to hear they aren't doing it on all ships but I am not surprised. It was too good to be true I guess.

Not sure why the cabin attendant didn't remove the used towels. Perhaps they are under some strict rule about the pool towels needing to be checked in by the owner? In other words if they took them and you didn't get credited for the turn-in you get charged and they get the blame?

The cabin steward knows that towels have to be returned by the passengers or they'll be charged for the towels.

I once timed saved empty chairs for 45 minutes and told a deck attendant. He promptly removed the items and we got the two chairs we needed. When the couple returned 20 minutes later, we told them we saw the attendant take the items over to the claims area. They were a little upset, but maybe they learned a lesson--a lesson a lot of other chair hogs should learn.

On the Liberty we had to always change out our wet pool towels by the pool. The cabin steward did not do this. This is the only ship where I have had that experience.
