Way More Than an Advertising Campaign
Dec 28 - It's miserably cold outside, and the snow is piling up past your knees. This would be a great time to go on a cruise. To make matters worse, you keep seeing those Royal Caribbean ads. It even seems like the worse the weather gets, the more often you see them. It must be your imagination, or is it? Either way, it's more pressing than ever that you get that cruise booked now.
First, that's what Royal Caribbean is counting on their new advertising campaign to do, and second, if you live in certain places, it's not your imagination: When the bad weather kicks in, the ads are running more frequently

I get upset about the Carnival ads. I got a message, my husband played in the casino, the kids went snorkeling and jet skiing. As if this is all included in the cruise.

Yeah it is cold outside. The snow is falling. All the people that want a white Christmas are now cussing the white stuff because the roads are covered and the airports are shut down. As they say don't wish for something because you may get it.

What is bad weather? Personally I love the winter. No mosquitos, or flies. Don't have to cut the grass, the snow will melt. Get to go skiing, buzz around on the snowmobiles and go ice fishing. It does not get any better. Also have an excuse to sit inside and watch football, basketball, and maybe someday hockey. Why would I want to leave all of this and sit in a shut down airport?
