Hi Sandy,I booked directly with the web site.I should have called them earlier about this problem.I don't know why I put it off for this long, until the other day I was browsing the other big forum, and I saw somebody talking about their missing credit, how they have to called so many times to get them back.
That was when I realized I should call them and ask them to fix this.
I know I should have asked to talk to their supervisor, but I just assumed that they would fix it somehow eventually. Looks like it's not going to happen.

Dave is working on something right now.

Incredibly, this problem is now happening to me. I logged on to RCI's website today and am getting error messages. I opened my profile and noted my C&A number was missing. I entered it and when I hit "save" I got the following error message:"The last name or surname you entered does not match the last name or surname that we currently have on file for the Crown & Anchor number you entered. Please contact the Crown & Anchor Loyalty Desk." I hadn't touched my last name!

By the way...

I have written an article about tanyababanya's problem but am holding up publishing it given my identical issue. I want to see what RCI tells me.

This is simply amazing.

I'm so sorry Dave. Maybe I gave you some of the bad "RCI" virus

I just checked my profile and everything is in order. I also called the Diamond Plus Desk and asked if they had any calls about this issue--they haven't revived any calls from the Diamond Plus Members. I do know that there have been computer glitches in the pass and it takes a while to rectify them.

My wife's account is still good and shows our cruise history.

Then it's probably not a last name issue. Seems strange to me that they can't give you a reason why your profile isn't correct. They ought to give you an extra cruise credit for the inconvenience.

I had this problem last year and called two or three times and there was no change. Finally I called and asked to talk with a “supervisor” who said that there had been issues with the database tied to the website and that it would be fixed within 24 hrs. I told them that I didn’t believe them after the previous promises and asked to talk with their supervisor. After a few minutes a lady come on the line and stated that their website contractor was having issues and said that she would help me. Surprisingly while on the phone my account was corrected and she waited on the line until it was displayed correctly on my computer screen.

Currently my screen is accurate but I don’t doubt any discrepancies for others. If I had a mistake I’d take an additional cruise credit but I‘d rather be on the cruise!

Well so far my account is still correct. Not sure if it has anything to do with the status of their members. I'm only a gold member right now.
