RCCL Royal Suite Question

Just curious, is the Explorer of the Seas the only ship with a hot tub on its balcony? I was checking out the other ships in its class, and they don't seem to have a hot tub on its balcony. Does anyone know. Thanks, Lil' Lori

Just looking briefly the Adventure, Voyager, and Oasis all have jacuzzi or whirlpool tubs on balconies. Thanks Lil' Lori, I needed some cruise homeowork to brighten my day !

So, 3 ships in that class, and the Oasis. I wonder why all the ships in the Explorer class don't have hot tubs on the balcony of the Royal Suite. Could you imagine, a drink with an umbrella in it, sitting in your own private hot tub, in a room you paid probably at least $5000, depending on the length of the cruise. Wow, I can only imagine. Yeah, on the Adventure a fellow critic had the Royal Suite, and invited some of us for a sailing off party, it was AMAZING ! One of the guests had a daughter, and she sat at the piano and played beautifully. A generous offer, and it was great to be able to see the suite. His wife gave tours to all of us. But I did enjoy the solitude of my nice sized balcony cabin for one !

When we were on the Freedom, when everyone was getting ready to disembark, and already out of their rooms.... I snuck over to the royal suite, the door was wide open, and no housekeeping around. So, I gave myself a tour. WOW...it was awesome. The bathroom was awesome, gold colored fixtures, etc...., I went onto the balcony, WOW, once again, it was awesome too. I figured if I got caught, they'd just have me step out. I also toured a owners suite, housekeeping was there, and she gave me permission to check it out. We have only booked a junior suite, and below. For our 10yr anniv, I was thinking of booking a grand or owner suite. I girl can dream........ Lil' Lori

My son hooked up with a boy who was in the royal suite on the Explorer last week and manager to have a tour!
He was very impressed.
Maybe when he takes his poor old mother on a cruise, he'll put her up in there!

Yeah, I have done the same thing, this was just the first time at invitation...hee-hee. So the experience was part of the fun, the piano playing, the champagne flowing....I just had my first junior suite and have booked a deluxe balcony, but the JS price creeps down, and my agent know my price point, she is great, and will jump on it. On the Adventure, I had friends travelling in another cabin, the agent almost had a fit, because I didn't book a cabin till 4 weeks before we left, I had plane tickets to Peurto Rico, but just waited for the right price.
