We are taking our 1st cruise Dec 16th - 4 day, Key West & Cozumel. Can anyone recommend what's worth seeing at both stops (beach/good bars)& what is best - late or early sitting for dinners?

I haven't been on this ship but have been to Key West many times. I love strolling down Duval Str. find a great spot for people watching. El Meson de Pepe's serves amazing Cuban food and sometimes has live music. Mr.B's serves auth. cuban food also, but atmosphere is very plain...local's spot. Beautiful sunsets at Mallory Square. Hemingway's House is pretty interesting. If you can rent a car, this would be the best way to get around the entire island. Have a wonderful time! I love Key West and miss it every day!

Although they are definitely "the tourist spots (bars)", no matter how many times I have been to Key West a trip to Sloppy Joes and Hog's Breath Saloon are a must; As is Carlos 'n Charlies in Cozumel.

Personally, I prefer late seating - particularly at these ports since getting back on board and ready for dinner for first seating is almost an impossibility for me. I also enjoy leisurely dining and second seating is never rushed.
