Nassau hop on, hop off the ship ?

Hi all,
for you, who have been there:
is it easily in Nassau to go to town, back to ship, back to beach, back to ship,and back to town in the evening, without going each time through passport controll and customs.

You won't have to go through passport, customs etc., but you will be required to go through security (both on shore and on board ship) each time. It is still not very difficult to do in Nassau as the ship is docked downtown.
