7 day all-inclusive or 14 day Mediterranean Cruise

I am not sure of your ages, Im thinking your probably pretty young. My partner, myself and my best friend are all going on the Legend of the Seas this July We are all in our early to mid thirties. It starts in Rome and does the Eastern Med. We are going to Venice for two nights before the cruise then taking the train to Rome to pick up the ship. Its a 12 night cruise, then back to Rome where will stay 2 more nights. We are doing shore excursions in all the ports, which are very reasonably priced. The most expensive was Egypt which was $245. But total we spent $582 each on the excursions. A cruise is the best way to see Europe at times like these, since all the things you buy on the ship and excursions are US dollars.

cabo isnt even on my radar as a place to go. I would suggest at least getting a balcony room on the ship and go from there.

You could always do the Yachts of Seaborn, they are all inclusive cruises.

thanks for all the great advise! we'll both be 22 if we do decide to cruise. it will be our 5th and 6th with RCI (the upgrade to platinum!!! WOOOHOOO!!) We've never been to a resort before. my furture brother/sister in law's have been to a few and insist we try one. They went on Liberty with us 2 years ago and had a horrible time!? (i don't know, i dont understand it either) I think we are pretty much going to choose the Cruise(s) but we still need to talk about which itinerary if we dont do back to back.

Cruisin Pilot...I think you have made up your mind. You have been on a few cruises and enjoyed yourselves, despite your family's experience. I have been to Cabo 3 times, love it will go back, but I do prefer to stay in San Jose Del Cabo, not lucky enough to party the Hagar Caba Wabo Bash....if I was younger...

I love cruising though and I'm planning the next one.

But most important, this is your honeymoon and the experiences in a Med cruise I believe will make it even more memorable. Very port intensive, enjoy your sea days, plan your port days, use this board to find the things you both will enjoy. Have a great time !
