I saw the pictures of the Oasis, thanks Dave, so now I have a question. The center of the ship looks wide open and also the back end of the ship looks open as well SO what happens if it happens to rain will Boardwalk, Central park, etc... be soaked along with the back end of the ship? Hmmmmmmm

In my opinion Central park is a close area in the middle of the ship without a roof. But there's no connection from Central park to the Boardwalk - Central park is 2 decks higher than Boardwalk. Boardwalk probably will be the extension of the covered Promenade (which is located under the Central park > Rising Tide Bar between there & CP :-) ) and ends in the Aquatheater. Between the two Parts CP & BW are the stairways/elevators... .

I would also believe they'd have some type of a retractable roof, but am not sure.

There is no retracting roof over most of the mentioned area, if the drawings and models are correct. I don't know the answer to the rain question.
