I can understand your point

ActualLy I know from experience RCCL is good cruise line, not the best for me,
but it pays to stay loyal to a particular cruiseline insted of spraying the money on differents ones.
Some of my friends do the same with princess cruises and tell me there are a few "upgrades" and options if you travel with them a lot

In my case, for now, I will try the same with Carnival
since I like the company maybe in the future who knows?
I will get a few Upgrades too

Hopefully, those of us that are members of C&A already will be grandfathered. If not, I have a credit with Princess and they will be more than willing to welcome us aboard! Besides, it seems like we already pay a premimum just to go on RCCL now.

Is this just a rumor, or is it for certain? We are two cruises away from Diamond and have to say this is not happy news. We are brand loyal because we like RCCL, but have really been counting up the cruises with this goal in mind as well.

As I said, on the Navigator the C&A host briefed that changes are coming. He said don't listen to the rumors, wait until you hear from C&A direct. I'm sure when the changes are all finalyzed emails will be sent to C&A members, and post will be made on their website. Let's not fuel rumors and get bent out of shape over something we're not even sure of yet. Even if the rumors turn out to be true, lifes to short to worry over something like this.

Dave, I got ya but I am just willing you to make it to Diamond class before the changes if there are any drastic changes in the near future. I hope they (C&A) don't make such major changes. But just in case!!!!

Please tell me that they will wait until 2010 to make any changes. I have five cruises down and have been upgrated to platinum as of this weekend. I have two other cruises scheduled this year, but that's all I can afford this year. I would think next year I could do three and put me at diamond. I hope that this is a rumor only.
I have a questions, I was on the Sovereign of the Seas on a weekend cruise and was told by our waiter that lobster will no longer be served at formal dinners fleet wide, Is this true?

I talked to someone at the diamond plus desk, and was told there not going to make any changes to the C&A status. There is some talk about the lobster, but nothing is for sure on that. The waiter that said this shouldn't be saying anything unless it's offical. We'll just have to wait and see if this will ever happen.
