Has anyone used the in-cabin babysitting on Enchantment of the Seas? My kids are 4 and 19 months. Also, just wondering about the types of activities they do with the kids, do they leave the cabin? I am also interested in any advice you may have for cruising with a toddler (not as worried about the 4 year old, there is plenty for him to do). Thanks in advance!

This is from the Royal Caribbean site:

Babysitting

Group sitting is available on all ships and is supervised by the youth staff. The service is offered from 10:00 pm-1:00 am each evening in the youth facilities. Children must be three years of age, potty trained and pull-up and diaper free to enter the youth facilities and participate in activities. The rate is $5 per hour per child.

In-stateroom sitting must be booked through the Purser's/Guest Relations Desk at least 24 hours in advance. It cannot be booked prior to the cruise vacation, and there is no guarantee that sitters will be available. The service is offered from 8:00 am until 2:00 am. Children must be at least one year old. Approximate rate: $8/hour for one or two children within the same family or $10/hour for three children within the same family.

Times and prices are subject to change without notice. Payment must be made in cash.

This is about the program for the babies 18 months to 36 months:

Aqua Tots

(Ages 18-36 months)

The six Aqua Tots sessions encourage toddlers ages 18 months to three years old to explore their expanding world, develop their imaginations and build self-confidence. Playful activities are incorporated into familiar themes that create enriching, educational interactive play experiences. "Fun on the Farm" uses the Little PeopleŽ characters and the Animal SoundsTM Farm to help kids make the connection between farm animals, the sounds they make and the ways they move. "Learning Fundamentals" gets kids -- and their parents -- moving and singing as they learn their ABCs and 123s, as well as shapes, colors and phonics. Additional Aqua Tots themes tap into toddler favorites, including creative play with cars and trucks; constructing cities and farms with building blocks and toys; learning about the people in their neighborhoods; and discovering more about what they'll see and do on their family cruise vacation.
