A few more question for Penny and/or others

Re our Radiance Thanksgiving vacation cruise, I was wondering about the kids camp, or whatever they call it on RCI. FIRST, is it comparable in quality to the one on Carnival, which they have previously experienced and liked? SECOND, I just checked on the RCI site, and according to their age divisions, the two older ones, who will be 8 and 10 would be in two different groups. Do they ever allow an 8 year old to move up to the 9-11 group to be with a sibling? The 10 year old will sure not be willing to move down.

I can't answer both, but the answer to the first one is, yes, they have a great children's program. I'm not sure how strict they are with the age groups, but usually the activities are divided by age groups to keep them interested and that they can comprehend. Maybe SonnyV or Dave knows for sure. My hubby's children are all grown, and we haven't taken the grandchildren with us--yet.

From what our childern tell us, the Carnival and RCI kids programs are pretty close in comparison. The actual activities very of course but as far as the kids went, they enjoyed both.

They will NOT let the younger child into the older group unless they are VERY close to a birthday. SOMETIMES they will let the older child go into the younger group.
