Linda - we just came back from an 8 night cruise on the Jewel. We were on Deck 7, cabin # 7622 and even though this cabin wasn't designated as an obstructed view, we thought it should have been. Our view from the balcony was at a canopy over the lifeboats. Right in front of our balcony was a hatch. At the first port, it was more than a little disconcerting to see a crewmember crawling out of the hatch and walking down the canopy in front of our balcony. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if the cruise line says a view is obstructed, you'd better believe it!
