My son (8) and I traveled on the Mariner's maiden voyage. She is beautiful. My son is "homesick" for her! He got into the car yesterday when I picked him up from school and started crying.... "they are happy tears Mom, seeing you makes me remember our cruise and how much fun we had". If anyone has questions I'd be happy to answer.
Only problem with going on a brand new ship is that it will be hard to go on a "used" ship next time!

I have lots of questions!
which cabin type did you stay in? how was the food in the dining room? did you eat at the alternative restaraunt? Does the mariner have a champaigne/caviar bar? did you go to the spa?

we will be on mariner in Feb. 2004. We will be taking 2 young men (21) with us. How was the rock climbing wall and ice skating rink? Did it cost extra?
