Royal Caribbean has people in all different age groups joining their cruises.
For families and children, RCCL is great because of all the activities and happenings.
The older generation and retired people also seems to like or love their cruises, and RCCL has many loyal cruises among them.
It's also many young people onboard, but I've heard that Carnival cruises should be perfect for the younger ones.

My wife and I have been on 34 Royal Caribbean cruises and I can say for sure that all ages can be found. If you want only younger ages try Disney.

The demographics for RCI are similar to Carnival's - just about any age. I tend to not dwell on the age groups since I can have a good time in any crowd. Our son, who is 12 going on 25 prefers to be around us so it really doesn't matter about the kids on the ship either.
