MSN is how kids chat these days online. My son will want to know too, so he can communicate with his girlfriend while we are gone. Good question!

So you mean MSN instant messaging.

Internet access costs money, even if you want to IM people. I don't believe they have IM software installed on the ship's computers - for MSN, AOL, or any other IM provider. I suppose you could do it if you brought your own computer, but then that still costs you by the minute.

Bottom line is that instant messaging from a ship could easily become an expensive thing to do. Good ol' e-mail is a cheaper option.

Personally, I think kids need to detox from their cellphones and computers for a week's vacation. It is my daughter's understanding that she will have a week to reconnect with her family and learn that she can live without technology! Again, this is my personal opinion.

I agree!! although they did ask me so I thought I should ask. Tough bringing teens and tearing them away from their boyfriends.....you know. Anyway I know that Carnival (Fascination) had MSN but Princess did not. Which was a good thing. Just wanted to know before going on, should they go missing I know where to find them
