Yesterday in Norfolk,VA. They officially opened the new cruise terminal. RCCL stepping up and due to high sales counts, will be moving some dates from Baltimore to Norfolk in 2008 for the Grandeur of the Seas. I have cruised w/ Carnival 7 times w/ the 8th already booked. I may try RCCL now that they will be bringing in a newer ship.
On another note, if anyone has any questions in regards to Norfolk area. Feel free to PM me on this site.

The Grandeur isn't really a newer ship. It was built in 1996. But it is nice that they are bringing the ship into a different port which gives more options. It is also nice to have another option for a drivable port.

Compared to the Empress, size and age. A big difference.
