Cruise Documents

I received our cruise documents via e-mail yesterday. Does RCI they still sent out the little book with luggage tags, etc. or is it all in the e-mail package now?

Well I just went in Sept and I got the book with the tags and everythingelse. Did you just now book it? You might have gotten your confirmation.

Nope, booked it in March. This is a fifteen page document with everything our books used to have. It has picture of our luggage tag with our room # and info on it. It says to show these at the pier and to copy this info off these tags(in the e-mail). I guess I had better call and see what's up,

More and more cruise lines are going to E Docs. Just like the paper airline ticket is a thing of the past, so will be the cruise documents in the future.

I got the same thing for our cruise in November - picture of the tag and says to copy the info onto a tag at the dock

I guess that's what we will do. Sure seems like that may add some more confusion, time and lines at the pier.

Our friends got their documents via email also and all they did was take the sample baggage tag with them to the port. The porters have baggage tags and will make them up for you. It only took a second. We opted to receive the documents the old fashioned way because we just like the booklet because it lists the excursions.

Thanks Everyone! I didn't realize we had a choice and they didn't ask us when we booked but it will work out I'm sure.

We have not gotten our documents yet. I was wondering if I need to call RC and request that they be sent to me instead of in an email? Does it automatically come in an email if you don't request it to be sent to your house?

Your cruise is almost a year away. You will not get your documents until probably some time in September.
