y2flyy, welcome and congratulations on your upcoming cruise and engagement. We too have sailed the Majesty and had a great time; like you hear, smaller but in great shape. No matter where you pop the question, just being at sea will make it a very memorable occassion. I would definitely opt for the more romantic and semi private options that are available at sea on the ship. CONGRATULATIONS !

I'm going in about 5 weeks on July 10....
I can't wait either!
But since I looking to propose to my girlfriend and I am very nervous time seems to be flying (what the heck happened to MAY).
I am really excited about the trip but extremely nervous so its like I can't wait for it to come at the same time wishing I had more time LOL!

Just wait until it's your wedding date. You'll really find out what nerves and cold feet can be

We just got back from the re-routed Mariner of the Seas Pacific Northwest cruise. Abe, our cruise director, arranged a public engagement for a young couple, but make sure that you are absolutly positive she will say "YES!"

At the beginning of the newlywed game he announced that she had been selected at random to receive a bottle of champagne. When she came forward she was told that she could have either the champagne, our what was behind the curtain. She, of course, chose the curtain.

She was instructed to cover her eyes while they opened the curtain. When she opened them, her beau was on one knee with a small jewelry box open before her. The crowd went wild. She got the champagne and a video of her erngagement.

Fritz thanks so much that is a great great story.
Does anyone know how he possibly set that up?
Also at what event was that at?
And how did they get the video of it?
I'm sure it cost right?
