can you dine there the first night of the cruise? is there a minimum age?

I had dinner at Chops Grille on my first night onboard "Jewel of the Seas" last year. The first thing I did once I was in the cabin was to call and make a reservation.

I don't know whether there's a minumum age, I'm afraid.

If I remember correctly, gratuities are included in the cover charge, but there will be an option on your bill where you can add an additional tip - which is what I did, as our dinner party was treated like royalty.

The food at "Jewel of the Seas'" Chops Grille was in a totally different league than what was being served in the "regular restaurants". I was not overly impressed with the food in general, but Chops Grille was simply superb.

Thanks Raoul. I appreciate the quick response. We're sailing on Mariner of the Seas on April 17th and I'm really looking forward to trying both restaurants.
