Not then, but I will be getting on her on the 26th, of November. I hope to have a review posted before you leave. She is a great ship!

Hi Glyn,
Looks like it will be a cruise-chat party. I will also be sailing on the Navigator on the 26th. You picked a great ship for your first cruise.

Hi Nancy. I'm relieved that two experienced "cruisers" have chosen the same ship at the same time of year. I have not been to the carribean previously, so I don't know what to expect (the weather etc). Can I ask your advice? Travelling with me will be my wife Lesley and two sons aged 17 and 21. Would it be best to take part in the excursions offered by the ship, or rely upon local taxi drivers?
Regards, Glyn

Hi Glyn,
The weather should be nice, at least in GC and Ocho. As for excursions, it really depends on what you want to do in each island. Nassau you can definitely do on your own. But, because we tender in GC the timing can be tricky. What were you considering in GC and Ocho Rios? Labadee is RC's private island - so the only option is excursins through the cruise lines - or just making it a beach day. You might want to read our suggestions on PortReviews (http://www.caribbeanportreviews.com) to assist you.

Tom and I will both be wearing our CruiseReviews baseball caps - so if you see either of us, do stop and say "hi".

Nancy
