Radiance cabin questions

Our first cruise will be on the Radiance in April.. The RCL agent told me the starboard side is better because passengers can see ports as we arrive. (ports: Key West, Cozumel, Roatan, George Town). I've read a review that said the port side is better for Caribbean cruises. Any thoughts?
Also, we are in cabin 9594, deck 9. On the deck plan, it appears to have a bigger balcony than most cat. D cabins. Our concern: it's the last cabing in the row before the cabins stair-step out around the hump of the centrum. Will our view be partially obstructed? Thanks for your help!

Since you will be doing a western caribbean route the agent is correct, the ports will be on the starboard side. As for your cabin, your view will not be obstructed, and fortunately you are not on the same side as the glass elevators so you will have privacy on your balcony - good choice.
