If I remember the schedule right, their first cruise since the refurbishment was to depart either July 7 or possibly this past Sunday - I'd have to double check the R.C. website. But it is possible the first travelers are still at sea.
The ship is scheduled to start running a series of New England / Canada cruises out of the Philadelphia Navel Yard starting this weekend (I believe). I am scheduled to go on this ship / cruise in August - my first. So I'll let you know when we get back.
FYI - here is the website for the shipyard that did the work. They have some pictures and a short video of the work. Most of the articles are in Swedish or Dutch - so unless you are multi-lingual - it might not be much help - wasn't for me.
I have not seen her, but there was an article aout her in todaya's Cruise Week. They added 2 large suspension bridges over the pool area, a new outside bar right in the center of the pool area, 4 bungi trampolines on the bow area and many other amenities. I can't wait to see/sail her.
Been checking the boards every day and am so excited to hear about the new addition as we are crusing on that ship in Sept. Hope to hear GREAT things!!

I have friends that just returned from sailing her and really liked the ship. They tried the bungee trampoline and said it was great fun!

Getting nervous because of all the bad press she has gotten since being stretched. Too windy by the pool, toilets not working in way too many rooms food terrible.....etc So I sure hope things look up before Sept 11th read about it on Cruisecritic.com
