I am looking through the current brochure and it states 3rd and 4th guest early booking rates based on a full fare adult rate. Is this list price or full price adult rate? If I go to their website and get an estimate on 2 adults and 2 children those 3rd and 4th guest rates certainly don't appear. In the brochure they are listed as approx. 399-499 pp. Can someone please clarify this issue for me. Thanks so much

Hi Newtocruise:
I just booked my family DH & 2DD(3 & 5) on a cruise in November the guest rates for the 2 girls are 299 each. I have checked other cruises and ones during the summer and holidays run from around 599 for the 3rd & 4th person. I do not think it depends on the room just the time of the cruise and the ship.

So are you paying the early booking rates or list price?

Some of the things that affect the rates are which ship, how far in advance you book, and how full the ship is at the time you book.

Newtocruise,

Your question isn't too clear to me, but I make my own bookings with the cruise lines as an associate agent. I often go to one of the big on-line cruise booking sites and go through the motions of making a booking just to see what the ballpark cost will be before calling. These days, there isn't much difference (if any) between an internet booking or one offered by an agent - except that the agent will treat you better and look out for your interests.

Most often, the fares for 3rd and 4th guests you see on-line will be the same as what the cruise line is offering for that particular cruise regardless of where the booking comes from. I don't pay much attention to the brochure rates.
