Microwave - hot water

This just came to me, and I thought I would ask.

In the rooms with the balconys, is there a microwave or hot platem st? The reason I ask is I like to have oakmeal, just before I go to bed, instead of in the morning, and I thought I would bring the small oatmeal packages, if they did.

I am leaving early Saturday morning, so I thought I would ask.

Sorry, no microwaves or hot plates in any cabins. You can have room service bring oatmeal to your room if you want. You could also go down to the Promenade Cafe for hot water.

SonnyV, where is the promenade on the Serenade of the Seas, or what deck? I thought it was on the Adventure of the Seas ship?

Sorry, I forgot you were sailing on the Serenade. You're right, there is no promenade on the Serenade, only "Voyager" class ships.

Room Service is your best bet....then you don't have to mess with anything....and of course, put half a banana in it.....We are going on a Back-to-back on the Serenade....looks like a great ship...we were just on the Voyager and the little snack shop on the Promanade was great for a midnight snack.....Enjoy the oatmeal....

Hello, we just got back a week ago from the Serenade of the seas ship. I will try to give a report in a few days.

As to the hot water problem, this is what I did. I went to deck 11 (the buffet area is closed by 11:00 or before), and at the edge of deck 11, you can get tea/coffe or hot water anytime. So I just got a cup of hot water, and added my oakmeal to it, and it worked out fine.
