Hi everyone I was wondering. The cantilevered whirlpools (spelling?) on Freedom, seems like they are in the solarium?? If they are, is the age limit 16 and up?? Just curious!! Thanks, Lil' Lori

Lori,

I read that these whirlpools were indeed adult only.

From what I read, they are for adults 18 and older only.

Hi Lil'Lori,
The cantilevered spas are on each side of the solarium. Here are a couple of pictures I took...

Thanks for the replies everyone. Sonny-the pics are great. Especially the one with the people in it. I now have an idea of how big they are. Thanks Lil' Lori

The wife saw the pictures and wanted to know if those had "glass" bottoms in them. She said if they did that she didn't think she could get in. Bad enough that were hanging over the edge. I personally think they are rally cool and a glass bottom would make them even better. (Unless of course your balcony is under them and you look up and see a bunch of rear ends looking back at you...

No, the bottom isn't glass. You can see really well looking out the side window though. I was standing on my balcony on deck six and people were waving to me from it . Another cool feature is the cantilevered walkway on deck four which goes around the main dinning room. If you look at the rest of my pictures you will see it. I'm really looking forward to our membership cruise on the Freedom Oct. 15th.

Hi everyone. I cannot wait to step into these amazing whirlpools. I am just curious: Are they crowded or is it easy to find a spot? Is each of them for 8 or 16 people?
Thanks, Lucy

Hi LUGI,
Everyone wants to climb into those whirlpools. There are times when it's too crowded and times when there are only a few people in them. More or less a "hit or miss" situation. The best time for us was when we were in a port and most people were off the ship.

They easily hold 16 people if I remember correctly.
