hi just got off the adventure in San jan.just hanging around at the hotel waiting for our room . Well what can I say fantastic ship great itinerary the weather could of been better but overall a great cruise.
just the only thing that concerned me was there wasn't a single hand sanitizer any were to be seen.
When I asked about them to a member of staff, they replied we will wait for a few people to go sick then we will put out the sanitizer.
Not the correct answer eh!

Glad to hear the cruise went well. The crew member could have worded the response better. There is the school of thought that overuse of sanitizers can diminish their effectiveness by causing more resistant strains of bacteria and viruses. Up until recently hand sanitizers were really not effective against norovirus. However a new "synergistically formulated ethanol-based hand sanitizer" appears to be effective for viruses. But in the end, washing with soap and water is the most effective method.

We were on the Voyager of the Seas last year and there was a gentleman from England that was on his 124th cruise....I feel like a rookie with only 20 but soon to be 21:-)...But I'm trying......Happy cruising to first-timers and 124th-timers alike....
