Just got off the 5-day Enchantment cruise (Ocho Rios and Grand Caymon) and it was GREAT! We got to the pier at 11:30 and waiting in a very short line then got right on the ship. We were in our stateroom by 1pm. Our luggage didn't show up until 5:30pm - no problem though since we had brought our bathing suits with us. Very smooth sailing, no rain at all. Probably the only negative comment I have is that the rooms were the smallest of all the cruises I've been on. Lots of storage space though. The crew was fantastic, especially Matt Baker the Cruise Director and Bingo Ali the Assistant Cruise Director - lots of energy.
Regarding excursions - BOOK THEM ONLINE ASAP. Don't wait to book your excursion when you get on the ship, it's not a guarantee and they fill up fast. You can book them online at the RCCL site. We did the RCCL excursion in Jamaica Dunns Falls and the Dolphin Swim and loved it. If you get a chance to swim with the dolphins don't miss it. In Grand Caymon we book a private tour with Captain Marvin for Sting Ray City and snorkeling and had a fun time. Captain Marvin was much less money that RCCL and his boats were nicer and he had less people, more one-on-one attention.
The food was very good on RCCL. Some people have complained on other web sites about the food, but we liked it.
My daughter is 13 and she did lots of stuff with the teen program. Scavenger hunts, kareoke night, disco night, pool parties, pajama movie night, rock wall climbing, and lots of late night food buffets. She loved Morgan, the teen coordinator.
If you have any other questions just ask.
