Bummer! I would be upset, too, if the itinerary was changed after booking, so that my first night was an overnight in port, rather than setting out to sea as planned. How has your travel agent suggest you proceed? Since the cruise is almost 4 months away, the cruise lines will probably not offer any compensation or additional amenities - if you really don't like the itinerary, then you have the option of canceling (from the cruise lines perspective). Cruise lines frequently change itineraries, ships, and ports of departure as they redeploy ships - this is not a unique situation. Again, I suggest you talk to your TA about any options you have.
