Oceanview more $$ than balcony??

I was just checking the prices for the cruise we are going on in Sep and I noticed the oceanview rooms are now more expensive than the balcony, why would this be??

I've seen this a couple of times already. Most likely the reason is that oceanview cabins are well-booked while bookings for balcony cabins are soft.

Mandi, I just looked at the Sept. 30 sailing of Mariner, and I'm not seeing what you saw. I'm seeing that all balcony categories are more expensive than the ocean views. Were you looking at prices directly with Royal Caribbean, or with an online agency? Maybe it was a short-lived phenomenon or maybe an agency has balcony rooms left in its block of rooms but the Ocean View are at prevailing prices. Or something!

I checked too. Balconies are more expensive. I have my eye out for the end of September. It would be the best time for me and my boss Esther to pick up the two crusise we need.
