We traveled with our son when he was an infant and loved every minute of it. In fact, he took his very first steps at London Tower chasing pidgens. Is anyone else going, like a grand parent? We always took my wife's mother who would baby ssit for us so we could go out to dinner on some nights,

You will have a great time even if you just sit in your cabin and enjoy room serive. The Mariner is an awesome ship.

I think you will findthe Mariner to be a perfect ship for you and your family. If you do not have anyone else going with you (as Tom suggested) there is also in cabin babysitting available in the evening for $10 an hour (done by highly qualified members of the youth staff). It's a little bit pricey - but might be worth considering for one special night - maybe to dine in one of the specialty restaurants. Otherwise, I don't think you should concern yourself over anything. Ooops - just remembered - I haven't needed this product in some time so I can't verify it, but I remember reading a post from a young parent that was quite upset that there were no disposable diapers in the ship's store - so you might want to be prepared.

WE have 3 children and the oldest is now 17. She and her siblings have been on cruises since they were 2 or 3 months. There were times when dinners were interrupted with crying and with our small stroller the staff would at times give a little rock back and forth! When it was that bad that we had to leave when the baby wouldn't stop crying, there was a knock on the cabin door later, and miraculously, food was sent to us with special desserts! The treatment was always great. Don't worry about it. That's great advice about the diapers etc.
