The show on the RC ship in Alaska was great show. I HATE to be cold so I got to see an Alaskan cruise like that. My DH was dying to cruise Alaska after the show though.

No, I am sorry I missed it. I usually try to catch the cruise related programs. What ship was it on? Perhaps they will repeat it (as the TC often does).
Nancy
i checked their website and it was under the "travel channel presents" category. great cruises:radiance of the seas, they did not list any future broadcasts, but i am sure that it will be on again before too long.
Keep your eye on the Travel Channel as I know they do air the Radiance of Seas in Alaska show every-so-often. I have run across it several times. I adore the Radiance and have yet to be convinced to sail to Alaska for fear of spending my vacation cold – I am a warm blooded creature who can’t stand the thought of paying to freeze for a week when I can do that at home all winter long. Anyway I am sure they will show it again – and usually when they do show it it will be on at least twice that day; once at a normal time for viewing then again late night but you could always set your VCR to tape it.
Just got back (7/17-7/24)from Serenade of the Seas Alaskan cruise. It really wasn't that cold. I also felt like you did and was dreading the week (give me warmth and palm trees any day!). I had to wear long pants and long sleeve shirt while in ports. Some days I wore capris while on the boat. The coldest part was the glaciers....it was windy and cold but absolutely beautiful. Can't even begin to descripe it....They sold a wonderful hot chocolate on deck that day that really warmed you up!!!
All in all it was really a nice week...rained in Juneau but they say that is normal. Didnt pour but just sprinkled..enough to make a nuisence.
Going to Southern Caribbean next April on the Adventure of the Seas - can't wait - any comments from anyone???
