We are just back from our 1st cruise late last night and I was just wondering when the moving/swaying feeling goes away? All 4 of us constantly feel like we are moving even when we're sitting still on the couch....when does this go away? I didn't get sea sick but now I'm getting couch sick from this feeling!!!
My husband and I were on another cruise lines ship. The last day it went through a storm. The next night I was sitting on the bed in the motel we were staying in and I asked my husband is it me or is the bed swaying. We got a good laugh out of that.
Funny you mention the swaying feeling and being sick on your couch. I was fine on the ship, popped dramamine and never had one feeling of queasiness. When we were back on land, I swayed for 4 days and was actually feeling sick from it. I almost had to pop a dramamine in my kitchen. LOL It did go away after 4 or 5 days.
My wife's swaying feeling usually takes one week to go away. She likes it because she thinks it helps her tone up her legs. I get a good laugh out of that one.
Ihave discovered that when you get alot of cruises under your belt the "sea legs" feeling doesn't happen any more. One incentive to book more cruises!!
