Is there a lock box (safe) in the rooms?

We will be sailing on Majesty of the Seas and I'm curious if there is a room safe where you can lockup valuables. Thanks!

Yes Debbie they are usually in the closet or over the TV. The pursers desk will also have saftey deposit boxes.

There are small safes in your room...some ships have combinations to set, others use a card...
We've never had a problem with them.....Happy Cruising.....

I was on the Majesty about three months ago now and yes, there are small safes in the rooms, and they are combination safes.

I haven't seen safes that use cards in a number of years. Are there any RCI ships that still use them?

We have been on a number of ships and some have the card safes & others have the key-pad safes. I suppose it depends on what ship you are on.
