Sounds interesting,BUT
of the 10 river cruises I ve taken SO FAR, Viking was my LEAST favorite.Know it varies by country,ship,itinerary,etc.but the total quality of of services,food,excursions was not up to par with others...

I tried using this site BUT
when I saw the PRICE, $20.oo a day compared to nearby park and rides at $6.00..could NOT SEE the advantage. One take a shuttle and other nearby so can walk,am I missing something.?

Price quoted was "holiday cruise price"
for THIS yr.due to next yrs. not published yet.Was for GS,looked earlier dates and much less.Never knew the price range was so great.May try to reconsider timing for next yr.

just got a quote from my TA and they want $10,000 for 11 nite cruise(for 2) and may have to downgrade to balcony since the site I looked at said "starting from 2700 for a suite".ANd never expected up...

Well,food is a BIG plus to us
and that could be a determining factor in taking ANOTHER with Scenic. Did like having choice in suite to have breakfast delivered to room and eating on balcony.Maybe the Crystal will be better? Hope...

I ALWAYS check the smoking policy.
Some are much more stringent.I now sail on ones the LIMIT smoking to few,certain areas..NOT IN CABIN OR BALCONY>
Really prefer ones that have room service 24hrs.at no extra cost.Such a luxury.

New cancellation policy for Oceania
I was just informed by my TA of changes ...now charge $100 if you cancel prior to final booking.For New cruises starting in 2013.
I have one for Sept,,,but will not effect that one.
Just a heads up.
