Anyone going on the cruise out of Barcelona

Yes, we are going on the Voyager of the Seas out of Barcelona Jul 12-19. We are excited but it is our first European cruise.

let me know if you liked the ship, and the cruise ports. Are you staying a day ahead in Barcelona? I booked a hotel for my night before

Will do. We've been on the Explorer of the Seas (which we loved!). Explorer is in the same class of ships as the Voyager. So, I have a good feeling we'll like this one, too. We plan to stay in Barcelona 2 days before and 1 day after the cruise. But, we're still working on hotel accommodations. Any suggestions of a clean, reasonably-priced hotel?

from this site, people stayed at the continental (you can review the posts). I am staying at the Colon cause I want to stay near las ramblas area. It is a 4 star, but what people say in the posts, it is a small room. Check the continental or there is one called U something. I checked trip advisor, they also have reviews.

Thank you, 49erfan, for the hotel suggestions. We will look for online reviews of the Continental. Are there more than one Continental hotel? We will also look for reviews for the Colon.

i don't know, but you need to see if it is near la ramblas. Also look on this site, there were a few other people who stayed at other hotels in that area
