How come I cannot add an Avatar to my profile ? I see others have them

Try it now, and let us know if you see the option to download a custom avatar.

I cannot even uncheck the box that says Do not use avatar

You have a photo showing up in your profile, but it is only showing up there. Let me look at it some more. We are all learning the new software and it is likely some setting.

I think I found it. Try again and let me know. Mine wasn't working initially, either, so I can envision exactly what you're saying.
