Subscriptions
 

Hi everyone.

I'm just now realizing this. It appears that whenever I post a reply to a thread, I automatically become "subscribed" to that thread. My e-mail notifications are off, which is fine, since it's what I want. Is there some way to disable the automatic subscriptions, so I don't end up with subscriptions to every thread I post a reply to?

Yes, there is, and I used it myself as I found it annoying.

Go to your User CP, then to "Edit Options" in the column on the left. Then, there will be several boxes on the right -- the second one is Messaging & Notification. Within there, look for Default Thread Subscription Mode, and change the drop-down to "do not subscribe."
