Seetours

A well-established German tour operator, Seetours International used to market various cruise lines and ship on the German market. In addition, the company operated the classic cruise liner Arkona from 1991 to early 2002. Sister company Aida has owned and operates the world's first purpose-built "club ship", featuring a distinctive holiday club atmosphere, since 1996.

Taken over by P&O Princess Cruises in 2000, Seetours is now known under the official name Seetours German Branch of P&O Princess Cruises.

As part of the company's aggressive newbuilding program targeting mainly the German market, P&O Princess transfered the Crown Princess to Seetours' new A'Rosa brand in 2002, making her the largest cruise ship ever catering exclusively to German-speaking passengers. A second Aida "club ship", AIDAvita, and two casual riverboats for the new A'Rosa brand entered service in May, 2002. A third Aida and at least one additional riverboat are on order for delivery in 2003 .
