Stella Solaris Cruise Reviews

Stella Solaris

Originally built in 1953 as a long-distance liner for Messageries Maritimes, this ship was completely rebuilt in 1971-73 before joing the Sun Line fleet. The ship has many loyal followers who enjoy her teakwood sun decks and casual old-world ambience.

Excerpts from Royal Olympic's Website about the Stella Solaris

The Stella Solaris combines the facilities and amenities of a fine hotel with the atmosphere of a small, classic ocean liner. Accommodating 620 guests, she epitomizes the line's dedication to gracious personal service and warm Mediterranean hospitality. In the summer, the Stella Solaris features 7-, 14- and 21-day Mediterranean cruises to the Greek Isles, Egypt, Holy Land and Turkey. In the winter, the ship explores the Amazon River to/from Fort Lauderdale, then offers Caribbean and around South America cruises.
