While the port and surrounding area might seem small, the location offers a wide variety of things to see and do. The rock formations, called the Hinta Hinyai, are among the most visited places in the area. These formations are thought to look like male and female genetalia, so the spot provides some memorable photo opportunities. There is also a butterfly garden near the port. If you are looking for something unique, there are 2 different crocodile farms and a snake farm. They are all close enough to the port to visit in an afternoon.
