Stokmarknes Port is located in the island of Hadsel in Nordland, Norway. This small town is the center of Hadsel municipality which is inhabited by no more than 4,000 residents. Stokmarknes is the home of the Coastal Express Museum and offers plenty of attractions for tourists onboard a Stokmarkness Port cruise ship; especially those with particular interest on Norway’s heritage. The Hadsel Church also has a heritage park where about 22 marked sites commemorate the old days from the Iron Age, including a sacrificial altar. The church also has other interesting objects that show how important the structure was during the Middle Ages. This church can be visited by tourists for free during the summer months.
Whale watching in Stø and Andenes in Vesterålen are also popular among tourists visiting the area. Whale watching is recommended from May to September. The sperm whale is the most common to be spotted in the area, although some species such as pilot, minke whales and dolphins may also be spotted.
Uvershula, the only storm shelter cave in the world, is another natural attraction in the area. It is best experienced during stormy days. However some tourists prefer to visit the cave at night where they can hear the sound of the ocean birds and sea eagles for a unique ecological experience.

The Nesset Spiseri serves American hamburgers such as hamburger, cheese burger, Hawaii burger, and Salsa burger. It also has grilled dishes like Biffsnadder, Peppersnadder, and Lovstek on its menu.
